NYC: Day 3

Today, all of the hustle & bustle and 3-hour time difference caught up with us.  Not only did we sleep in a bit this morning, but we also took a 2-hour nap this afternoon.  A 2-hour nap that could have turned into a 5-hour one had we not had a dinner cruise to get ready for.  I am finally starting to feel like my body is on Eastern Time Zone.  Just in time for us to leave in a few days.  Ha!

This morning after a yummy breakfast, we walked to Central Park.  The weather was quite nice, sunny & fairly warm, but quickly turned a bit cooler with overcast skies.  But what a fun time we had!  We ended up taking a pedicab around the park, and our driver (bicycler?) showed us important landmarks and many historical spots around the park.

After the morning in Central Park, we walked to FAO Schwarz to take a look around. Two stories full of toys, candy & more toys.  I tried to get my picture taken on the Big Piano, but the line was too long.  So instead, I took funny pictures of Marc.  One of them was a gummy bear the size of Marc's head! And if you've seen his head...that's BIG!!!

Next we walked to the Empire State Building.  By then, it was starting to get pretty cloudy & the rain was rolling in.  We made a pit stop into Panera for lunch when it started to sprinkle, and fortunately the rain had cleared up once we were done with lunch.  Much better than the constant rain we get in WA!

We didn't go to the top of the Empire State Building, as we went to the top of Rockefeller Center last night, but we did walk around inside for a bit.

By this time, we were exhausted.  We had probably walked about 3-4 miles around the city today, so this is immediately what we did when we got back to our hotel room.

Yep, we both fell asleep for a good 2-hours.  It felt great, and just what we needed before our dinner cruise!

Scentsy arranged for all of us to go on a dinner cruise tonight, and oh my goodness, was it amazing!  The views were spectacular, the food was wonderful, and the company was awesome!  I love getting to reunite with all of my Scentsy buddies and spend time together!  We we fortunate enough to experience something that only happens twice a year (tonight being one of those two times).  Fireworks by the Statue of Liberty!  Amazing!

What a wonderful evening!  Thank you, Scentsy, for a taking on this amazing dinner cruise & having us see all of the beautiful sights of New York (and New Jersey)!

And when we came back tot he hotel?!  More gifts from Scentsy!

So incredibly blessed to be working for such an amazing company, who continually gives more than they take.  Today & every day, I am so thankful for Scentsy & what they have done for me & my family.
