One Last Surprise!

Thursday was our last day at Disneyland.  It was hard to believe that 4 days at the Happiest Place on Earth had already passed & it was time to head home.  

On this last day, we still had one more surprise for the girls.  Breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen!

I had high expectations after our wonderful lunch at Ariel's Grotto.  Upon arrival, Goofy greeted us with a photo op!

Breakfast was a buffet & they had plenty of yummy options for all of us!  Pancakes, waffles, eggs, fruit, lots of yummy desserts & much more.  There was definitely something for everything!  And while we were eating breakfast, we were visited by a handful of Disney characters.

I will have to say that I was hoping for some bigger names at this breakfast.  Like Minnie Mouse or Daisy Duck.  But the girls didn't seem to mind & enjoyed meeting all of the characters...even if they didn't know who some of them were.  Ha!

When checking in, Grandma mentioned in conversation that Kennedy's birthday was the week before.   Well wouldn't you know that after breakfast, the waitress came & brought Kennedy a cupcake & a group of them sang Happy Birthday to her!  How sweet is that?!

Well Ashby Grace was NOT happy about Kennedy's special surprise, and she started to cry.  So the super nice waitress brought her a cupcake too!  And all was right in Ashby's world again!

The girls had a great time at Goofy's Kitchen & it was a great way to end our wonderful time at Disneyland!

After breakfast I headed back to the hotel to pack, while Daddy, Grandpa, Grandma & the girls went a little souvenir shopping.

Made wishes & tossed pennies into the fountain.

And played outside in front of the hotel, waiting for Mama & our luggage.

And then, just like that, our fabulous trip was over.  It was time to load up the car & drive back to Las Vegas.  Where we would stay until Friday, when our little family would fly back home to Washington. 

We had such an amazing time at Disneyland & already talking about our next trip to The Happiest Place on Earth!
