Kennedy brought this picture home from school the other day.
Mama! This is a picture of sissy (orange), me (yellow) & you (purple). Sissy is making a big mess & you are saying 'what are you doing, Ashby Grace?!'
Yep. That pretty much sums up our life with Ashby Grace. Ashby, i.e. Destructo, likes to make messes all over the house. Then refuses to clean up her mess until Mama raises her voice a time or two. Or three. She finally does clean up said messes, but not before she starts to cry (as seen in the above picture). She's not a fan of being reprimanded.
Or what about this mess she made the other day.
She locked herself, via her pottery barn chair against the door, in the playroom during rest time. Proceeded to dig through four bags of gummy worms from her school Valentine's bag. Then hid the bags underneath the train table so Mama wouldn't find out.
Too bad the gummy worms stuck all throughout her hair were a dead giveaway! Ha!
It is so hard to not laugh at her antics sometimes. Like this one. How does my four-year old know to do this?! Block the door. And hide the evidence. Heaven help me!
Man, we are in some serious trouble as she gets older!
We love our Ashby Grace, but she definitely gives us all a run for our money!!!
She sounds just like the older version of Gracie. She blocked the door to her room when I was trying to get her to nap during the crib-toddler bed transition. She was barely 2! Let's never let them meet ;)
