It's Here!

The long awaited Father-Daughter Dance picture has arrived!  As soon as I spotted the envelope in the mail, I tore open that bad boy wondering if I was going to smile, laugh or cringe at the picture that was inside.

Remember last year's picture?!

How could you not?!  Awkward & hilarious.  Yet cherished & loved, and put on the mantle for all to see.

Or how about the picture from 2011 when 4-year old Kennedy & Daddy went by themselves because Ashby was not quite old enough to attend.

Not too bad.  Not quite a genuine smile & I'm not sure why she is tilting her head up.  But again, I loved it & proudly displayed it for everyone to see.

Side note.  Look how young she looks!!!

So this year's picture.  What are we going to get?  I'm secretly hoping it's not a repeat of last year's picture. But if it is, you know what?  I will love it & cherish it like the other two pictures, proudly display it on my mantle again, and fondly remember these special times that the girls have with their Daddy.

I love it!  Look at my beautiful Kennedy!  A gorgeous, genuine smile!  And Ashby is looking adorable sitting on Daddy's lap.  A slightly fake smile from Ashby & her head is tilted up (must be what 4-year olds do!), but I think it is a WONDERFUL picture of Daddy & his girls!  I love, love, love it & already have it in my frame & proudly displayed on my mantle!
