Waddle Waddle

Today was Penguin Day at Ashby's preschool.  Dressed in white & black she was ready for a full day of penguin fun!

Unfortunately, she wasn't too keen on wearing black today.  Our conversation Tuesday on the way home from school went a little something like this:

A: Thursday is Penguin Day at school!

Me: I know!  And you get to wear black & white to school!

A: No!  I don't want to wear black!  I look horrible in black!

Me: What?!  No you don't!  You look adorable in black!  You can wear a white shirt, black pants, white socks & black shoes.  How does that sound?

A: That's fine, but I don't want to have to waddle.

Me: {laughing} Ok.

Hahaha!  Where did she come up that she looks horrible in black?!  And that she would have to waddle at school?!  Such a funny girl!  Always has me laughing!

She left school today happy & said she had a great day.  And no, she didn't have to waddle.  Lol.  She did, however, create a super cute picture for me!

Unlike her sister, she couldn't tell me too many details about penguins (besides that they waddle & slide on their belly), but it sounds like she had a super fun time at school today!
