Papa & Grammy gave the girls Build-A-Bear gift cards for Christmas & they could not wait to make use of them! Kennedy did not have school on Monday, so the three of us went to the mall to have some fun!
Even though it was cold & rainy, Ashby & her pretty pink shades were ready to go!
The girls did not take long to pick out their bears, which by the way, did you know they just don't offer bears?! There were dogs, cats, bunnies, AND bears! Lots & lots of options!
No surprise that Ashby went with pink. And Hello Kitty. Two of her favorite things at the moment. Kennedy went with a blue, red & yellow bear and at first decided she wanted this bear to be a boy because 'I like boy things.' Her new favorite statement. But after seeing Ashby's princess Hello Kitty, she decided her bear--Fifi--would now be a girl with a sparkly outfit.
They had so much fun helping the worker put their animals together, i.e. stuff 'em & close them up, giving their animals a bath & of course picking out their outfits. It was so fun to see their excitement, eyes light up, and smiles on their faces during the entire process.
Thank you, Papa & Grammy, for our gift cards! We LOVE Hello Kitty & Fifi and cannot wait to show them to the both of you soon! We love you & miss you!!!
