Blown Away!

Remember when hubby bought me Carrie Underwood tickets for Mother's Day?  Well, last night was the concert!  And boy, was it amazing!

The concert was in Seattle, about an hour away, so we decided to make our date night into a day and night date.  A nice walk downtown, a delicious early dinner at Cheesecake Factory, and some alone time with my man.  It doesn't get much better than that!

Hunter Hayes was the opening act.  And though we only knew a couple of his songs, I enjoyed his music.  And by the shrieks from all of the young girls in the crowd, I think he has many fans!  Heck, my 30-year old sister has a little crush on him, so maybe it's not just teenage girls who enjoy his cuteness!

Hunter played for about an hour & then it was time for Carrie!  I was so excited!  I have loved her since she was on American Idol & think she is an amazing singer!  Not to mention beautiful.  While Marc really wasn't thrilled to be at the concert (he was just being an amazing, supportive husband), I'm sure he didn't mind watching Carrie perform for almost 2 hours.  Ha!

Such a great concert!  She did not disappoint & I am so thankful for my sweet husband for buying these tickets for me.  And for going with me.  Not what he would have chosen to do on a Saturday night, but is always thinking about what I want, and he never fails to disappoint.  Thank you for an amazing date, babe!  I love you!
