Punta Cana: Day #3

Otherwise known as our Day of Rest.

I'm not sure if it was the 3-hour time change, the early morning/super long day on Monday or what, but Marc & I were exhausted on Wednesday.  We slept in AND took a nap, and if you know Marc he rarely does either of these things, so he MUST have been tired!

Around 9:00 am we finally crawled out of bed as we had massages that started at 10:00 am.  Our incentive trip included a Spa Day, so Marc & I enjoyed a Holistico massage.  Basically, it was 50 minutes of pure bliss!  Marc actually said that it was the best massage that he has ever had.  

After our massage we had lunch at Pizzeta, a brick oven pizza restaurant.  Marc enjoyed a flat bread flank steak pizza & I had a margarita pizza.  They were delicious & by far the best meal we had eaten thus far.

After lunch we headed back to our room & did this.

I told you we were tired!  After taking this picture, I quickly crawled into bed with him & we took a 3-hour nap!  It was very apparent that we were worn out & needed the sleep!

Around 4:30 pm we woke up & decided to try out the spinning class at the gym.  Holy moly, was that class hard!  I have been to many spin classes before (this was Marc's first class), so I knew what to expect.  Or so I thought.  There was no gradual increase in speed & intensity as the class progressed.  The instructor went full throttle from the first minute in class & continued the intensity all the way until the end!  It was a great class & we got an awesome workout!

After class, we showered, got ready & ordered room service for dinner.  And then the came the most exciting part of the day!  Scentsy's 70's & 80's party!

Oh my gosh, we had so much fun!  You should have seen some of the outfits that showed up at the party!  There were some awesome ones!  We had so much fun hanging out with our friends & dancing the night away to music from the 70's & 80's!  The Scentsy family definitely knows how to party!

And when we got back to our room?  Another awesome gift from Orville, Heidi & the Scentsy Events Team!  An insulated tote, underwater camera, & other goodies for our excursion on Thursday!  

We have been blown away by Scentsy's kindness and generosity & cannot wait for another amazing day in Punta Cana!!!
