So even though I have completed P90X, I've decided to continue with the Get Fit Friday posts. I'm going to continue with them because a) I have not reached my goal yet & b) these blog posts help keep me accountable. Knowing that I'm going to be posting a picture of my belly once a week on this blog ensures I keep up with my balanced, healthy eating as well as my exercise program.
Like I mentioned in my last P90X post, I've decided to do the Insanity program. For the next 60 days, I am going to be doing these insane workouts 6 days a week.

And let's be honest, Shaun T is not too shabby to look at either. If I'm going to be doing these workouts 6 days a week, I'd like to look at someone who has these chiseled, ripped abs. He reminds me a lot of my hubby! Ha! And a bonus?! He isn't cheesy & annoying like Tony Horton was! A definite win-win in my book!
This week was my first week doing Insanity every day, and WOW!, this is going to be a tough program! At one point in one of the DVDs Shaun T says 'this s**t is bananas!' And I couldn't agree more! The workouts are intense but I LOVE it! They are only 40-45 minutes long & I love how I feel as well as all of the sweat pouring off of me at the end of every workout.
Week #1's workouts were as follows:
Monday: Fit Test
Tuesday: Plyometric Cardio Circuit
Wednesday: Cardio Power & Resistance
Thursday: Cardio Recovery
Friday: Pure Cardio
Saturday: Plyometric Cardio Circuit
Sunday: Off
Like I mentioned earlier, the workouts were insane, especially doing them almost every day of the week! But, I really feel like this is the program I need to help me lose the rest of my belly fat, get me toned & where I really want my body to be.
And since I just posted belly pictures at the beginning of the week, I am going to use these as my Before pictures for this program.
I cannot wait to see my transformation in 60 days at the end of the program!
And can you believe, there is only 10 days until Punta Cana??!!
I cannot wait!!!

I have loved seeing your progress and following along on your journey! Thanks for being an inspiration to us all and keep up the great work! PS: SO Jealous that Punta Cana is only 10 days away!!!
