Thankful Thursday

I'd like to say today was a better day for me & my girls, but unfortunately the supermoon demons are still present, which made for another oh so lovely day.  It's so bad that I seriously just need to laugh about it, because if not, I would cry.  It's been that bad.  I'm praying that we can all get through these next couple of days & my polite, obedient, nice little girls return.  Because if not, I'm running far, far away!

And so I don't just dwell on the fun we've been having lately, I thought I would focus on the good things in my life right now.  It may appear lately (from my blog posts) that it's all doom & gloom around here, but I do still have a lot to be thankful for!

* I'm thankful for the upcoming weather forecast.  This is the time of year where I am so over the dreary, rainy weather.  Here in the PNW you really cannot guarantee nice weather until after the 4th of July (yes, I'm dead serious), so when we get a few days of sun & warm weather, it gets us all very excited!  Love these sneak peaks of what's to come!

* I'm thankful for my sweet friend, Lindsay.  I met her in a mommy group when I was pregnant with Ashby & we have kept in touch over the years.  She lives in Hawaii at the moment but I found out she is actually from the PNW, so I feel like we have a special connection.  She is a super sweet mama & I'd love to meet her in person one day.  The other day she sent me these super cute Scentsy thank you notes that she had made for me, wishing me a Happy Scentiversary!  Such a special surprise.  I just love them!

* I'm thankful that Marc comes home from his business trip tonight.  After the week we've had, I am so thankful he will be home to help me wrangle our out of control girls.  Plus he sent me this cute text this afternoon.  Go Vandals!!!  We certainly are meant to be.

* I'm thankful for our new babysitter.  Our old one got a real job as a preschool teacher so we've been on the hunt for a new one.  Ms. Alice, or Nanny as she prefers to be called, is a perfect fit for our family.  She loves the girls as if they were her own & the girls have so much fun with her.  We are very lucky that we found such a wonderful person to watch the girls.

* I'm thankful for my wonderful Scentsy customers, hosts & team!  I never in a million years thought that I would be as successful as I have been in just one year with Scentsy.  And I owe it all to my supportive customers, awesome hosts & wonderful team!  We are 45 strong & I am so thankful for all that they do.  I am blessed to be working for such a wonderful company & it's the absolute truth when I say that I love my job!

* I'm thankful for my husband & girls.  Yes, I may gritch about the silly things Marc does, or complain about the girls behavior, but without them I would be lost.  I am thankful for a supportive & loving husband, and feel so lucky that I am able to stay home with my girls (bad days & all).  They are my world.

  1. I found your blog at Kelly's Korner. I have family that live in Lacey. You don't happen to know of Karen and Frank Wilson do you? I love that area. We used to have family reunions out at Johnson's Point in Olympia. Beautiful place. Some of my fondest childhood memories are from there. You have a beautiful family.
