After our day yesterday, I was praying today would be a better day. Yeah, not so much.
I swear that this little girl spent more time in her room today than out of it. And look at those red eyes. I took this picture shortly after a mother of a tantrum that she had. I've seriously never seen her throw such a fit.
As I was complaining about our horrible past 2 days on Facebook, somebody mentioned that this Saturday is not only a full moon, but it's actually a supermoon.
An evening where the full moon appears at its largest and brightest in the night sky. This coincides almost perfectly with the moon's perigee — that is, the moment when the moon is closest to Earth in its orbit. This supermoon will be especially pronounced given that this will be the moon's closest approach of the year. --source
My girls are always a little off near a full moon, but nothing to this extent. But now that I have learned about this supermoon, this explains EVERYTHING!!!
Kennedy was actually pretty good day until around dinner time. Then the stomping, back talk & disobedience started. I guess she didn't want Ashby to be the only one spending time in her room. Sigh.
3 days until this big supermoon. I pray that we can make it through these next few days.
Better yet. Who wants them?! They're FREE to a good home!
Just kidding.
Kind of...

Oh goodness!haha....sometimes all you can do is laugh at their drama!:-) Brielle has been especially fussy too lately.
ReplyDeleteWhen I worked at a day care, I used to DREAD going into work near a full moon. Some people may not get it, but seriously, there is a huge difference in their behavior. And there were 20 of them feeding off each other. Good luck the next couple days! I'll be thinking of ya!
ReplyDeleteI knew something had to be up with that sweet girl! We always joked in the hospital too when I worked: When it was a full moon, you definitely noticed. Patients were more likely to go crazy or code on us. It was SO weird, but true! Hope this passes soon...at least I can blame all my girl's fussiness on teething for now ; )
