Get Fit Friday

I'm running around like a chicken with my head cut off, trying to get ready for a Scentsy event tomorrow, but I wanted to make sure I got this post in today.  Since it is, after all, Get Fit Friday.

It's hard to believe that I am nearing the end of Week #11 of P90X!  Wow!

It is also hard to believe that in just 2 weeks I will have completed the ENTIRE program!  Double wow!

It's been an awesome (almost) three months & I've absolutely loved this program!  I've got lots to say about it all, but I will wait until I am finished in just a couple of short weeks.

This week I went back to this workout routine.  And I, of course, continued with Insanity on the cardio days.





Kennedy was my photographer today.  She did a pretty good job taking my pictures, don't you think?  My little budding photographer. :)

Not much has changed this week.  Still trying to eat clean & healthy, though, I did find these delicious treats at Costco.  They are 'healthy' at only 110 calories a pop, but it is hard to eat just one of them!  I really have to be careful because I could seriously eat at least 3 at a time!


The box at Costco has the milk chocolate & peanut butter crisps, as well as the milk chocolate dreamy clusters.  I do not care for the clusters, but the crisps, oh my word they are delicious!  They are an excellent treat at night after the girls have gone to bed.  Yum!

I'm kind of in a rut with dinner recipes at the moment.  I feel like I am making the same things week after week.  I get the Cooking Light magazine but none of the recipes in the past month or so have really jumped out at me.  If you have any delicious & healthy dinner recipes, please share!

One thing I am loving for lunches this week is peanut butter & banana on a whole wheat tortilla.  I don't' know why I got into the PB & banana kick this week, but it brings be back to my childhood.  I totally remember my mom making me PB & banana sandwiches a lot growing up & I loved them.    And for only 270 calories (90 calories/tortilla, 90 calories/1 TBSP PB, 90 calories/1 small banana), I have found this to be an excellent lunch option this week!

It's been a good week & I do have to say, that I am really seeing a transformation happening right now with my body.  I cannot wait to take my after measurements in a couple of weeks & see the final results!

And with that, I must get back to work!  Scentsy is calling my name again!

Only 31 days until Punta Cana!!!


One month!  I cannot wait!
