Pool Party!

To conclude the big birthday week, yesterday Kennedy had her 5th birthday party.  It was a pool party & we were so lucky to have my parents, sister, brother-in-law & nephew come up for the big event!  I hadn't seen Greyson in a few months, and boy has he changed!  He is getting so big!  And oh how adorable!  I could just eat him up!!!

The girls loved doting on him & cannot wait until he gets a bit older so they can all play together!

It was so great to see my family & be able to spend time with them!  And an added bonus is that we will be seeing them again next weekend for Easter.  More time to love on our nephew!!!  And of course spend more time with my parents, sister & brother-in law. :)

I ordered Kennedy's invitations off of Etsy & I think they turned out so cute.  Perfect for this rainy Pacific Northwest Spring weather!

Unfortunately there is a lot of nasty crud going around so a few of her little girlfriends were sick & could not come, but the birthday girl didn't seem to mind.  She was super excited for her friends that could come & could not wait for her party!

The first hour we did coloring, an edible sand art project, cupcakes & presents.  The girls seemed to enjoy the little projects they did but they really enjoyed the cupcakes!  Ha!

The cupcakes were from the same person that made Ashby's birthday cupcakes, and once again, they were delicious!  Everyone seemed to enjoy them.

And Kennedy loved all of the attention as everyone sang Happy Birthday to her!

Next came present time!  Her friends were all so generous & she LOVED all of her presents!  I didn't get to many great pictures because this is what present opening looked like the majority of the time!

Ha!  They were all so excited to see what she got!  Both girls loved all of the presents that Kennedy got & have been playing with them non-stop since we came home from the party yesterday.

After opening up presents, the girls were ready to go swimming.  And for the next hour, they swam, jumped, & had fun in the pool!  My dad, Marc & one of the other dad's were awesome sports & got into the pool with the girls so the ladies didn't have to.  The ladies say THANK YOU!!!

And before we knew it, it was 4:00 pm & time to end the party.  Of course, Kennedy started to cry because it was all over & she didn't want to see her friends go.  She was having way to much fun & didn't want her party to end.  But unfortunately, all good great things must come to an end.

Thank you to everyone who came to Kennedy's 5th birthday party!  And a very special thank you to Grammy, Papa, Auntie Rae Rae, Uncle Brian & baby Greyson for driving from Oregon to celebrate the birthday girl's special day!  She loved all of her presents & appreciates all of you coming to party with her at The Valley!  She cannot wait to do it again next year!
