Princess Ashby's Party

On Saturday, we had Ashby's birthday party.  It was a Princess/Spa theme & we invited 6 of Ashby's (and Kennedy's) friends.  One of Ashby's friends, Kai, had her birthday party this Fall at the children's salon here in town & the girls had an absolute blast.  Ever since then Ashby has been saying that is where she wanted her birthday party to be, so when it came time to plan her party, it was a no brainer.

My friend, Lindsay, created the invitations & I just love how they turned out!  Perfect for my little princess!

Right when the girls arrived, they took turns getting their hair done.  The stylists there did an excellent job of styling their hair & making them look like true princesses!

After getting prettied up, the girls played 'Pin the Crown on the Princess', 'Princess Bingo', and they also  made bracelets & crowns.

Next up, it was time to get their nails painted!  They each got to pick out what nail color they wanted.  Ashby chose green & Kennedy chose pink.  Daddy even got in on the action & blew on the birthday princess' nails to dry them. :)

Then it was cupcake & present time!  My friend, Jessica, made the cupcakes & they were delicious!  Ashby chose vanilla cupcakes, with vanilla frosting, and vanilla sugar cookies on top.  I tried my hardest to get 'adventurous' with the cupcakes, but she wouldn't budge.  So vanilla it was.

`
Her friends were so sweet & spoiled my princess with such cute gifts, including a handmade bow clip holder from Avery & her mommy, Farrah.  I like to call her Martha Stewart because she is so crafty!  For Christmas she made homemade caramel sauce & paired it in a basket with apples & chocolate covered pretzels.  I wish I had a tenth of her creativity!

Ashby (and Kennedy) had such a fun time at her party!  We are so happy that her little friends were able to come celebrate Ashby's 3rd Birthday & we hope they had as much fun as the girls did.  The girls have such sweet friends (and mommy & daddy love their parents too) and we are so happy they were a part of  our princess' special day!

Next up...Ashby's Birthday!
