After tomorrow, I will have completed Week #3 of P90X! Woohoo!
This week was a good week. I have had more energy & feel great! Even though one of my 2012 Goals was to get up earlier, I have quickly realized I am not a morning person. For the past couple of weeks I have been getting up early in the morning to work out, only to be dead tired by mid afternoon & feeling so run down. So I decided that it just wasn't worth it. I've been getting up at my normal time (6:30 am) and just get my work out in some time during the day. It was worked out much better & I have so much more energy during the day.
Here are my week #3 results. I'm not going to do a side by side comparison this week, because honestly, it is impossible for me to do & takes up way to much time. And today, I just don't have the extra time. If anyone has a simple way to put pictures side by side by side, please let me know. Going in to edit HTML is very difficult for this computer illiterate mama! Ha!

Look! I'm actually getting some definition in my stomach! And my waist is getting skinnier! Woohoo!
Yoga was once again super boring this week, but I will have to say that it definitely is helping me get more flexible. I could actually reach my toes this week! And that is saying a lot, because I normally can hardly get to my ankles! Ha! I am not very flexible. Obviously.
We have tried some really yummy, healthy recipes these past couple of weeks & have some more on the menu for this coming week. Here are some great ones we've had that I would definitely recommend!
This next one Marc & the girls loved, but me, not so much. I just couldn't get over the texture. But if you like tofu, this would be a great one to make for dinner!
It's been an awesome week of P90X & I'm looking forward to see what next week brings!

ReplyDeleteYou look awesome! You get up at 6:30am and don't call yourself a morning person?! Ha! I was a total morning person before getting pregnant, not so much anymore! I'll take all the sleep I can get.
