Get Fit Friday

Today is Friday which means I (almost) made it through Week #1 of P90X!

I decided to start on Monday to be on the same schedule as Marc, and so we can have our off day (Sunday) be together.

So this is what my schedule looks like:

Monday: Core Synergistics
Tuesday: Cardio X
Wednesday: Shoulders & Arms and Ab Ripper X
Thursday: Yoga X
Friday: Legs & Back and Ab Ripper X
Saturday: Kenpo X
Sunday: Rest or X Stretch

I will say that these all are very hard work outs, but today's Legs & Back and Ab Ripper X about killed me!  Today was the first day that I thought I was going to puke after my work out.  But the crazy thing?!

I have LOVED every minute of it!

Yes, I am sore as heck and dripping sweat by the end of every work out, but I feel amazing and can already see a transformation in my body!  Incredible!

Last Week:

Week #1:

What do you think?!

I, personally, can already see a difference especially in my side profile & front shot.

The 'diet' is going well too.  I've really been trying to eat more balanced & make sure that I get plenty of fruits & vegetables.  Fruits aren't a problem, but I have to admit that I am not getting enough vegetables.  I get a good salad in at night but that is about it.  I'm trying to find some good smoothie recipes that incorporates vegetables (spinach and ?) into them so I get more into my diet.

And Marc has me taking a high protein post workout shake every day.  Can't say I love it, but it is supposed to help with muscle repair & recovery, so I'll keep taking it.

What I do love, though, is this shaker bottle!  It has this little whisk type thing that sits at the bottom, so when you shake it up the drink gets nice & blended.  No more chunks of protein powder at the bottom.  Yay!

So there you have it!  Week #1 (almost) in the books!

It's been a great week & I'm looking forward to this next week as I continue to get stronger, leaner, and more in shape!

101 days until Punta Cana!!!
