Tea For Two

Or in Ashby's case, tea for 6!

This is just too cute not to share.

This afternoon Ashby came to me, with tea set in hand, saying she wanted to have a tea party.  I was in the midst of putting laundry away so I suggested she ask her sissy to play tea party with her.  A couple of minutes later she came back to me saying that sissy said no.  So I suggested that while I finish the laundry she go & have a tea party with her stuffed animals.  She reluctantly agreed & I went about finishing the laundry.

5 minutes later, when I was done putting clothes away, I walked into the play room to find this:

Baby girl had gathered up all of her beloved Chipmunks & had a tea party with them!  Complete with tea cups, saucers & spoons.  I thought it was so cute that she meticulously lined them up, some Chipmunks sharing a tea cup, while Simon #1 & Theodore #1 were lucky enough to get their own set.  

I tried to get in on the tea party, but I guess no mamas were invited to this little tea party because baby girl adamantly said NO when I asked if I could have a cup of tea.  Well okay then!

I love her imagination & that she set this little tea party up all on her own!  

I wonder when their next tea party is scheduled for?!  And I wonder if her mama will finally get an invitation to attend?!
