Day In The Life: Friday

7:00 am: Kennedy gets up & plays Wii with Jared.  She, again, beats him in most of the games.  Jared seems to be a bit irritated by all of this & says he is going to practice at his friend's house this weekend.  He says he is going to practice basketball to make sure that Kennedy doesn't win any more games.  It must be hard losing to a 4-year old.  Ha!

7:30 am: Ashby wakes up & the girls eat breakfast.

8:55 am: time to take Kennedy to school.  Jenny stays with Ashby again so that I can go to a meeting & work out while Kennedy is at school.  Jenny plays play do with Ashby & they take self portraits together.

12:00 pm: Kennedy is home for school.  Its lunch time & then time to rest for a couple of hours.

3:00 pm: snack time & then activity time.  We color & make a fun count down to Christmas project.  The girls also want to show off their pretty fingers & toes that Jenny painted for them while she was here.

5:30 pm: Tonight for dinner I make sweet & sour shrimp.  It is delicious!  The girls have never tried shrimp nor snow peas before but they want to join the '2 Bite Club' (a book that Grammy read to them while we were there for Thanksgiving) so they willingly take a couple of bites of each.  And surprisingly they like it!  We praise them to no end & tell them how proud we are of them and have the girls tell Grammy that they are now part of the special club.  They also get to finish the Christmas cookies that we had decorated at Grammy's house...and eat the crumbs from the bottom of the container.

6:15 pm: bath time routine.

7:00 pm: bed time for Kennedy.  Daddy watches basketball while Ashby & I watch Dora in my bed & read books together.  When the game is over, Daddy plays Go Fish with Ashby.

8:00 pm: bed time for Ashby.   After she is in bed Marc & I watch TV together.

9:30 pm: I head up to bed & watch TV before falling asleep.  Marc says he falls asleep on the couch & comes up to bed around 11:30 pm.
