Day In The Life: Saturday

7:00 am: both girls get up for the day & immediately want their milk & breakfast.

8:30 am: I take Kennedy to swim lessons.  Hers is at 9:00 am & Ashby's Daddy & Tot class isn't until 10:00 am, so we take separate cars & he brings Ashby a bit later.

9:00 am: swim lessons for Kennedy.  She does great in class & is really improving.  She is starting to learn how to do the crawl (freestyle) so during class they are working on their arms & technique.

10:00 am: Kennedy & I run errands.  She picks out ornaments that she wants to give her teachers for Christmas & I find some as well.  We go & deliver a Scentsy order and then meet Daddy & Ashby at Costco to pick up Christmas lights & a wreath.  Much to my dismay, the girls convince me to get colored lights this year (I'm a clear lights type of girl).  Marc is super happy!  He has been trying to convince me for years to buy colored lights.  

12:00 pm: lunch time.  The girls get a special treat for lunch--McDonald's.  They are in heaven!

1:00 pm: rest time.  Marc heads out to put up the lights while I get ready for a Scentsy event.  He also hangs the wreath above the fireplace.  

Ack!  We look like the Griswold's!!!

4:00 pm: The Scentsy event goes until 8:00 pm.  Marc has the girls for the rest of the night.  He didn't take any pictures of what they did, but according to him, part of the afternoon consisted of this:

Marc: Hey Kennedy, we are going to get a car wash.

K: NO!!!!  I don't want to get a car wash!  *Insert hysterical crying*

Marc: Kennedy, why are you so afraid of the car wash?

Kennedy: Because it hurts my ears.  I don't like it!  Let's make a deal, you can go & get a car wash tomorrow while we are at rest time.  *Still crying*

After much discussion (and crying), they end up skipping the car wash.  At one point after Kennedy stops crying, Ashby says to her 'sissy you stop crying now.  We go get car wash please?'  Ha!  Little sister loves the car wash!  Too bad big sister doesn't!

9:00 pm: I come home from my Scentsy event, exhausted & hungry.  Marc makes me a fried egg sandwich (my request) & I devour it.  Then it is off to bed.  I'm beat.
