Say Cheese!

Woohoo!  Our proofs are back!  I'm so happy with how they turned out. We got some really cute shots of the girls & we also got a good family picture, which I am thrilled about.  It is so hard to get a decent family picture.  It is near impossible for me to get both girls looking at the camera & smiling at the same time, so for Sheila to get all four of us looking at the camera & smiling, well, that is very impressive.  Without further ado, here are some of my favorites.

And now, how about we take a look at some pictures that will not be ordered.  Kennedy is at a stage where she tries way too hard to smile/pose when getting her picture taken.  Marc & I call it the 'ugly smile'.  Take a look at these next pictures & you will see what we are talking about.

See what we mean??!!  No matter how much she practices her 'pretty smile', she always ends up with these awkward pictures.  My mom says that we really should embrace these pictures because it shows Kennedy's personality & who she is, today, at 4-years old.  She says that we may not enjoy these not so perfect pictures now, but in the future we will look back at them & remember the loveable, sweet, adorable Kennedy that is with us today, awkward smile & all.  And you know what?  My mom is so right.  So from here on out, I will embrace these special pictures that Kennedy takes for us! 

Sheila--thank you so much for taking such great pictures!  You captured some wonderful shots of the girls & even managed to get a fantastic family picture.  It was great seeing you & we cannot wait to have you take some more pictures of us the next time we are in town visiting my parents!
