Kennedy's birthday is in just a couple of weeks. March 28th to be exact. She cannot wait until her big day! So much, in fact, that she has been talking about it since Ashby's birthday in January! She has had a hard time realizing that her birthday was not right after Ashby's & that she would have to wait another couple of months until her special day. She keeps looking at the calendar & asking how many days until her birthday. So I decided while the girls were sick & in quarantine that I'd have her make a paper chain counting down the days until her birthday.
Of course Ashby wanted to get in on the action too!
I love that this little activity also helped her practice writing her numbers. See the number '12' written in blue??!! She is starting to get pretty good at writing her letters and numbers.
And the finished product hanging on our pantry door.
