Happy Birthday, Papa!

Happy Birthday to the BEST Papa two little girls could ask for!!!

The girls woke him up bright & early this morning with a Happy Birthday call!  This 2-hour time difference is so hard to get used to.  They wanted to call him as soon as they woke up at 7:30 am, but I didn't think Papa would have appreciated that very early wake up call.  So I made them wait until 9:45 am our time, and they still woke him up.  Sorry, Papa!

We are so excited to see him in just a few short weeks!  Grandparent's Day is at the girls' school at the end of the month.  We didn't bother inviting either set of grandparents as it was a short notice & we knew that plane tickets would be awfully expensive.  But the school apparently sent out invitations, and Papa called the girls last week to let them know he was coming for Grandparent's Day!  We cannot wait!  It definitely pays to be retired & to have a flexible schedule! :) 

And not only is today Papa's birthday, but it is also Grandparent's Day!  What a wonderful day to celebrate this amazing Father & Papa!

We love you Dad/Papa & hope you have a wonderful birthday!!!

And Happy Grandparent's Day to another set of amazing grandparents: Grandpa & Grandma!  We love you & miss you so much!!!

(Sorry Grandpa.  We have no recent pictures of the three of us.  We must change that the next time we see you!)
