Every year my parents have a big neighborhood 4th of July BBQ. Their backyard is gorgeous, and huge, and is the perfect spot for all of the neighbors to get together & celebrate the 4th. We have gone three out of the past four years, and always have a great time! And this year was no different!
We loved that the Browns joined us again this year! We had so much fun with them, and of course loved snuggling & playing with the boys!
The girls took a nap at rest time so they could do fireworks & watch the big city fireworks display. Unfortunately, Ashby spiked a high fever & was having no part of it. And she asked me to put her to bed before the fireworks even started. My poor baby.
Kennedy, on the other hand, LOVED the fireworks! She had a blast doing them with Daddy & staying up way past her bedtime to watch the big display!
Minus Ashby Grace getting sick, we had a wonderful 4th of July! Thank you, Mom & Dad, for inviting us down again this year! The food was delicious & the girls loved all of the yummy treats you had for them. They are already counting down the days (8!!!) until they come down for the week for some special Grammy & Papa time! We love you!!!
