S-O-L-D!

Phew!  It has been c-r-a-z-y since we returned home from our house hunting trip in Texas!  On Sunday we had an Open House from 1:30-4:30 pm.  It was a GREAT showing, with two very interested couples.

Sunday night we received an offer.  Unfortunately it was not a good one, but it was a start.

We then got a call to show the house on Monday at 12:30 pm.  He, too, loved the house & put in an offer by 2:00 pm!

So much of the day yesterday was spent countering not one, but TWO, offers!  Crazy!

And I am happy to say that as of last night, we accepted buyer #2's offer & our house is now SOLD!!!

I have never been so happy, or relieved, in my whole life!  Our WA house is sold & we can now focus on our upcoming move to TX & our NEW house!

And today, for the first day in over a month,  I was thrilled to not *have* to make the beds, open the blinds, nor keep the house immaculate if I chose not to.

Which I did not.  The girls & I are all battling colds, and that was just one thing I didn't want to have to deal with.

I LOVE that I can now say our house is S-O-L-D!!!

  1. Yay!!!! I remember being so relieved when ours sold too. Although ours was conditional on an inspection so we had to worry a little extra long unfortunately! Enjoy your break from picking up the house :-)

  2. I envy you. We are trying to sell ours, and I am getting so down about it. It's only been up for two weeks, and we don't have a realtor yet. I am sure that may help. I am just so ready to get something bigger. Good luck to you guys! I love your new house!

  3. Haven't gotten a chance to say CONGRATULATIONS yet! I know the feeling of sweet relief that comes with knowing you've unloaded a house in one city and secured a house in another. (By the way, your home is Dallas is GORGEOUS!) Praying all goes well with everything that needs to take place before the big move. Can't wait to read about your family's new adventures in the Lone Star State!
