Except it's not a worm!
Take a look at what one of our chrysalides is doing!
How strange is that?!
It looks like it's about to bust out of it's shell!
Maybe that's what happens when it's becoming a butterfly?!
And I should note that it doesn't wiggle like that all of the time. A minute or so after I took this video, it stopped. And hasn't done it again.
Weird.
And yes, Marc & I are rather obsessed with watching these caterpillars/chrysalides do their thing. It's such an amazing process!
I'm going out of town for the weekend, and really hope that I don't miss them turning into butterflies.
I've instructed Marc to take lots of pictures and videos if anything exciting happens.
Like when our chrysalides wiggle like a worm.
I think that is so cool!! I bet my girls would love to have that and watch the changing process!
