The girls & I are so happy to have Marc back home. He was traveling all week for work & we were all thrilled when he came back yesterday afternoon. Especially the girls. They are Daddy's girls through & through.
Hubby was so sweet & let me sleep in this morning, work out in peace & quiet, & he took the girls out so I could have some 'me' time. Rumor has it they made me a Valentines present. Actually Ashby couldn't wait to show me hers so I already saw part of my present, but I'm going to pretend like I didn't & have it be a surprise on Valentine's Day!
This afternoon I went and got my hair done. It was in desperate need of some highlights, a trim, and something different. So I went with side bangs. Nothing drastic. But a nice change from my otherwise blah look. Hopefully this new 'do prevents me from wearing my hair in a pony tail day.after.day.after.day.
Then hubby met up with me for an early dinner, while the girls stayed with Nanny. We went to BJ's & enjoyed a nice, fattening & high calorie meal together. Ha!
And we were home by 6:30 pm to spend some time with the girls before they went to bed. Yep. A dinner date night that started at 4:30 pm & ended by 6:30 pm. Yes, we are lame. And old.
To be fair, though, Marc wanted to get home & watch (or I should say listen to since it wasn't on TV) his UNLV Rebels play Boise State.

LOVE the new hair! You look great!!! And we spent our Saturday afternoon the exact same way, on a "day-date" so we could spend the evening with the kids. We are exciting, lol! So kind of your hubby to give you some alone time, you deserved it after last week!
