We're Here!!!

Marc & I made it to Punta Cana last night & we are having a blast!  We are currently inside after a day in the sun, resting a bit before dinner, so I thought I'd upload some pictures to share with family and friends the fun we are having!

Yesterday morning started bright & early.  Like 2:45 am early.  Way too early for this mama, but I surprisingly did well with the early morning alarm.  Probably because I knew what fun was in store for us!  

We left only 8 minutes later than our original plan to leave the house.  Coming from somebody who is always running late, running less than 10 minutes behind was fantastic!

Before we left, we left this note for the girls to wake up to, as well as some little gifts to open each day. We know they are going to have a great time with Papa & Grammy, but this is the first time we have left the girls for more than a day, so we want them to remember that we love them, miss them, and will be home soon!

Our plane left promptly at 6:00 am for Dallas.  Unfortunately, Marc & I did not sit together so I mostly slept & read a book during our 4 hour flight.

After a 3-hour layover in Dallas, we hopped on our charter flight (full of other Scentsy consultants!) and were off to Punta Cana.  It was another 4+ hour flight, but luckily Marc & I were able to sit together this time so the time went by super fast.  A little more sleeping, a lot of reading, and some snacks & drinks, and we were there!  We arrived around 9:00 pm, and we were never more happy to get off of the plane!  8+ hours of flying in one day was plenty!

By the time we grabbed our luggage, climbed on a bus & traveled 30 minutes to the hotel, it was almost 11:00 pm.  We were eager to wander around the hotel grounds, but that was going to have to wait because we were starving & ready for bed.

But not before we oohed & aahed over our room!  Look at how beautiful it is!  And a jacuzzi tub in the middle of it?!  Yes, please!  This place is amazing!!!

We tried to call Room Service to grab a bite to eat before bed, but with 100+ consultants coming in around the same time that night, they were super backed up & the wait was forever.  So we grabbed some protein bars that we had brought with us, scarfed them down & called it a night.
