School's Out For Summer!

Yesterday was Kennedy's last day of Preschool. 

I cannot believe that my baby girl is done with Preschool, and in the Fall will start Kindergarten!  She is growing up way to fast!

I had a very hard time as I dropped her off (and picked her up) at school yesterday.  I actually got tears in my eyes as she said goodbye one last time to her wonderful teachers.  These past two years at Sparkleberry's have been wonderful & I am so glad that Ashby Grace gets to go there in the Fall.

I decided to go with this gift for end of the year teacher gifts.  Since there are 5 teachers, I wanted to do something that a) did not take too much time to put together & b) did not break the bank.  Kennedy's teachers seemed to really like them & I am sure they will get great use out of the cups & gift cards this Summer!

And just a little Mommy brag.  As Kennedy was signing her name on each of the tags, I let Ashby 'practice' with the extra tags that we had.  Well practice she did!  I was shocked when I looked over & she had actually written out her name!  I had no idea she could even do that!  I knew that she was able to write an H, but an A, B & Y too?  Who knew?!  Way to go, baby girl!

And so today was the first day of Summer vacation for us!  I cannot wait to see what fun things we do & the cool places we go over the next few months!  It's going to be a great one!!!
