I Jinxed It.

I knew I probably shouldn't have posted about our Summer-like day on Thursday.  Why?  Because since then we've had nothing but gloomy, dreary, rainy days.

I'm so tired of it!  Tomorrow is July & we still are having Spring-like weather.  I know, and I've said it before, that here in Washington Summer doesn't officially start until 4th of July.  Which is next week.  But still.  It stinks to see all of my FB friends having beautiful, sunny & even hot days!  I promise I will not complain if it ever gets hot here this Summer!

Today while Marc took the girls to swim lessons, I went & got beautified.  I got my hair cut & colored.  I always love how Jenny, my hair stylist, does my hair.  It's always the perfect color, she never cuts too much off & makes my hair feel so healthy.  Love it!

Unfortunately, my mother does not agree.  She requested a picture of my new 'do' & after sending her this picture that Kennedy took of me, she texted back 'where is the blonde'?  Even though I've had the darker, and more natural, hair color since this Winter, she would still love for me to go back to super blonde.  Sorry mama, not going to happen.

We took the girls out to dinner & they loved what the waiter brought to them after they finished their meal!

And as we drove home, it did what it always does.  Why, oh why, does the sun always decide to come out at like 7:00 pm in the evening?  Right when we are ready to give the girls a bath & get ready for bed.  Without fail, it happens every.single.day.  So annoying.

Tonight, though, we let the girls stay up a little later so they could play outside for a bit.  Their activity of choice?  A little basketball with their Daddy.

And Daddy showed off a little bit too!

Despite the cruddy weather, our little family had a great day!  I hope you did too!!!

  2. You can have some of our heat! Heat index in the triple digits forever now---I can barely breathe when I go outside--yuck!
