...I gotta douse my eyeballs in SPF 30.
This was what my brother-in-law posted on my FB Wall today. Ha!
Actually Brian, I decided to douse myself with SPF 50! Go big or go home, right?!
Today, my eyes are feeling MUCH better but I still went to the eye doctor this afternoon to make sure everything was OK with them.
Luckily there was no damage to my corneas, however, I did have a lot of inflammation & conjunctivitis in both eyes.
So now, I am the lucky recipient of steroid drops AND I get to wear my 10+ year old eyeglasses permanently until Friday. Lucky me.
Seriously, though, I'm just very thankful that I didn't do more damage to my eyes & that they should be healthy again in a week or so.
In the mean time, feel free to call me four eyes....
