Introducing...

Strong Girl, Kennedy!

Tonight Kennedy had a Backyard Circus at her preschool.  You may remember that last year she was a  Ballerina.  This year she chose to be a Strong Girl!

The parents did a little face painting before the circus.  Well, this non artistic Mama did the best she could & tried to paint some dumbbells on Kennedy's cheeks.  Baby girl was not impressed.  

How cute is Kennedy's friend, Sage?  She, too, was a strong girl but her parents were creative & added 'muscles' under her shirt.  They actually used Puddle Jumpers & I think they were the perfect muscles for Sage.  I may try these on Kennedy tomorrow.  Yep, being in two different classes earns you the right to go to TWO Backyard Circuses!

Each of the students got to perform their circus acts for the audience.  Kennedy chose to show her Strong Girl muscles by lifting weights, jumping through the ring of fire & banging on a drum.  She's got skills!  

And at the end of the circus, they gathered all of the Sparkleberry students, past, present & future, and sang the 'Shake Hands with Friends' song.  Ashby loved going out with big sister to sing this song & she cannot wait to go to Sparkleberry's Preschool next year!

It was a fun night & we cannot wait to do it all over again tomorrow! :)
