Kennedy & I went to church & ran errands this morning.
While Ashby & Daddy stayed home since Ashby had a cold & wasn't feeling well.
She chose to have a pajama day & stay in her Dora jammies all day.
This afternoon Daddy had enough of the pain in his hand & was in fear that he broke it, so he decided to head to Urgent Care to get it checked out before heading out of town for the week.
Luckily the doctor said it was just inflammation & not a break. Hopefully this brace & round the clock Ibuprofen will help ease the pain & make it feel better.
Tonight I made this recipe from the Cooking Light magazine & it was delicious! Even the girls said they liked it. Yay! A definite keeper.
And now tonight, while Daddy runs to Walgreens and gets us some Cold Stone, Ashby is hanging out with me while I catch up on laundry.
She is bathed, in a new pair of pajamas, & appears to be feeling better. Although when I just asked her if she is feeling better, she gave me a fake cough & said 'no'. Ha!

ReplyDeleteRaya does that same thing when she's getting over an illness....as soon as I ask if she's feeling better she starts to fake gag likes she's going to puke lol. Never wanting to give up the extra attention!
