I totally stole this title from Sheelah at McMissis Blog. Here in the Pacific Northwest, every February we have about a week of awesome weather. A week where everyone gets super excited about the summer and warmer temperatures. Sheelah likes to call this particular week February Fake Out because after this amazing week every year, it soon turns back to our rainy & dreary winter, which lasts approximately 3-4 more months. Actually here in the PNW Summer doesn't officially start for us until after July 4th. Unfortunately, I'm not joking. It really is kind of depressing.
This past week we have enjoyed February Fake Out! The weather has been awesome with temperatures in the 50's and sun every single day. It has been heaven! Every day I have shuttled the girls outside because lord knows when we will have nice weather like this again.
Today, like the rest of the week, the girls enjoyed playing outside for a bit.
And Daddy worked on his art for the girls.
I really have no idea who the first picture is supposed to be of. Hopefully nobody in our family, or anybody that we know for that matter. Ha!
It was a perfect afternoon. And a perfect way to end February Fake Out, because unfortunately tomorrow our weather returns to this...
It sure was nice while it lasted.
Looks like the girls had a lot of fun outside. We've had rain all day today!

ReplyDeleteWe had a "fake out" recently too! Then the last 3 or 4 days have been cloudy and gloomy...I'm ready for summer! :-)
