Last year Kennedy started with the 'ugly smile' when taking pictures. I don't know if she concentrates to hard or is self conscious about her smile, but a lot of times her pictures turn out less than stellar. I usually have to take a good 10+ pictures of her before I get a decent one. So when school pictures came around last year, I wasn't very excited. I knew I wanted to order one, to at least put in her memory box, but I surely wasn't going to order any extras to be framed or for the grandparents. Imagine my surprise when she came home with this...
To say I was shocked was an understatement! Her school picture was adorable! Looking at the camera, eyes opened, and a super cute smile! All things I usually cannot get from her. I loved this picture & was bummed that I hadn't ordered more.
This year, the not so cute smile continues. And with that not so cute smile, she also tries to 'pose' while taking a picture. Always a fun time trying to get a picture of her! Ha! Last month Kennedy got school pictures taken again. I had high hopes that this photographer would work her magic again, so I ordered some extras for the grandparents. And I am pleased to say that she did not disappoint! This is the picture that Kennedy came home with yesterday:
Amazing! How she gets such a cute smile from Kennedy is beyond me. I am seriously in love with this photographer! I wonder if she would be willing to take all of our future family pictures??!!
Thank you, picture lady, for taking such adorable pictures of my little girl!

Hi,
ReplyDeleteI don't think that i have commented on any of your posts yet. i am new follower of your blog. Your daughters are so adorable!
I have a 4 year old girl, and she is going through the same "awkward" smile/not so cute smile and also tries to pose at the same time. Maybe it's a stage that girls go through?
