As Different As Can Be

I've mentioned many times on this blog how different the girls are.  Sure they are sisters, but that is about as far as their similarities go.  Kennedy is more of a tomboy--loves to play with cars & trains, kick around a soccer ball & is a bit more loud & rambunctious.  Ashby, on the other hand, loves to play dress up, carries her baby dolls around everywhere & could where high heels, necklaces, bracelets & rings all day long.  I love how different they are, although, I always joke with Marc that it is hard to believe that they came from the same parents.

Yesterday, the girls wanted to go buy a little something for their friend, Avery.  Poor little Avery burnt her finger on the fireplace Friday night & the girls wanted to get her something 'to feel better'.  They decided that one of the things they wanted to get her was a balloon.  Maybe because they wanted one to?!  Absolutely!  But I still thought it was very sweet of them to want to help Avery feel better.

As soon as we got to the wall of balloons, I knew exactly which balloon each of them would pick.

They chose the Get Well balloon for Avery.

And can you spot which one Kennedy & Ashby chose?!

That's right!

Spiderman for Kennedy.

And Princesses for Ashby.

Sisters, but oh so different.

I found this quote & think it describes my two girls perfectly.

Sisters are different flowers from the same garden.

Couldn't have said it better myself.
