Hunters Family Farm

Yesterday, Kennedy went on a field trip to the pumpkin patch with her preschool.  The original plan was that my babysitter, Jenny, would watch Ashby so that I could enjoy some special one on one time with Kennedy.  Well, my second born had other plans.  She threw a huge holy fit that she didn't get to go to the pumpkin patch & went in full tantrum mode until I gave in.  And I did.  Because I'm a softie.  And because that meant she would go to bed at 7 pm because she'd miss her nap.  And mama liked that!  Ha!  So the four of us (yep, Jenny went too!) enjoyed a little trip to the pumpkin patch!

We all had a great time!  The weather was perfect, except for a little wind (hence pictures with hair all in their face).  The girls had fun picking out their pumpkins, going through the corn maze & sliding down the super big slide.  Actually, just Kennedy enjoyed that last part.  Ashby not so much.  We were sad that daddy didn't get to go, so I think we'll head to another pumpkin patch this weekend & pick out another pumpkin, maybe one that is a little bigger & we can actually carve. :)
