She's A Star!

You may remember from last school year, that Kennedy's preschool picks a Star of the Day each day at school.  The Star gets special attention that day & gets to pick which songs to sing & books to read, gets to be the line leader & gets to wear a special pin and stamp.  They also get to fill the Star of the Day box with a special something that they love and want to share with their class.  

Well, this past week Kennedy got not 1 BUT 2 times to be Star of the Day.  Since Kennedy goes to preschool 5 days a week this year, she got to be the Star at her M/W/F class as well as her T/Th class.  Needless to say, she was thrilled!  

Last Friday was her first day to be the Star of the Day.  She decided to bring her Little People motorcycle & girls to share with the class.  I was pleased & thought it was much better than the McDonald toy that she brought last year!  Ha!

And then today she got to be Star of the Day again in her other class!  This time she brought a bouncy ball.  Yep, a ball that Marc won for the girls from a machine.  I encouraged her to select something else, but she wasn't having it.  I guess she was really loving this random ball today!

And not to be outdone, Ashby wanted to be Star of the Day too!  She cannot wait until it 

is her turn to go to preschool!
