Star Of The Day

First off, Happy St. Patrick's Day! I don't believe we have much Irish on either side of our families, so "I'm a Wee Bit Irish" on their t-shirts is quite fitting. Never the less, it is still fun to wear green & share the love from these two sweet little Leprechauns!

Finally, a good shot of them together. Most pictures of them are individual shots because it is near impossible to get them to both smile & look at the camera at the same time.

Not only is it St. Patrick's Day but Kennedy was also Star of the Day at her preschool today. Being Star of the Day she got to be line leader, pick out songs during song time, wear a special pin, and fill the Star of the Day box (shown below) with her favorite toy/object to share with her class. Wouldn't you know, she chose to bring in a plastic motorcycle from her McDonald's happy meal that she had the other night. Huh??!! I tried to convince her to bring some other special toy that she loves (Little People, Little Einsteins, etc.) but she was insistent on that motorcycle.

She told me she had a great day today & loved being Star of the Day. She is already talking about what she is going to bring the next time it is her 'special day' at school again. I'm hoping it's not that plastic motorcycle again! :)
