Our Special Time

Ashby was not a happy camper when she didn't get to go to 'Was Vegas' with daddy & Kennedy for the wedding.  When she woke up from her nap & realized that they had left without her, she threw herself to the ground in a big old tantrum.  Got to love 2-year olds!  But mommy quickly remedied the situation & told her that the two of us would have some fun & do some special things while they were gone.  The words pizza, nail salon & toys might have come out of my mouth.  Quickly all was right in Ashby's world again & she had forgotten that she wasn't included on the trip to Vegas.  Here are some of the fun things Ashby & I did while daddy & Kennedy were gone.

I missed Kennedy (and Marc too) like crazy, but it was so nice to spend some quality one on one time with Ashby.  We had so much fun & I loved our special time together.  And I forgot how easy it was to take care of just one little person!  I know that Ashby probably won't remember all of the 'special missions' we went on together or how she was my little 'errand girl' for the weekend, but I sure will.  I loved the alone time that we had together & I hope that she enjoyed our special mommy-daugther time too.  It was a weekend I will never forget.
