Our Little Flower Girl

Marc's cousin, Michael, was getting married and Kennedy was asked to be the flower girl, so the two of them headed down to Las Vegas on Wednesday.  I was disappointed that Ashby & I wouldn't be able to make the trip, but with another wedding next month & a family trip in December to Las Vegas, financially it just wasn't in the cards for us this time around.  So the two of them went on a daddy-daughter trip together & boy did they have fun!  It was like pulling teeth to get either of them on the phone while they were there.  They were having a wonderful time with Grandma, Grandpa, aunts, uncles & cousins.  My mother-in-law, Connie, and Marc were super sweet, though, & sent me texts & emails during the 4 days they were gone to show me what a fun time Kennedy was having AND what an adorable flower girl she was at the wedding!

Kennedy had a wonderful time with all of her cousins, but as you can see from the last few pictures, she had an extra special bond with her cousin, Sami.  Marc said they were inseparable the entire time they were together & Sami loved taking care of Kennedy.  Since she has been home, Kennedy has not stopped talking about Sami & cannot wait to see her again when we go back to Las Vegas at Christmas. I love that even though she doesn't see her cousins as often as she/we would like, she always has the best time when she is with them & it is like time has never passed from one visit to the next.

Michael & Becky--Congratulations!  We are so happy for the two of you!  Thank you for allowing Kennedy to be a part of your special day.  She LOVED being the flower girl & had such a fun time at your wedding and reception.  We hope you are having a fabulous honeymoon, and we wish you many, many years of love & happiness!
