School's Out For Summer!

It's hard to believe that Kennedy's last day preschool is upon us.  What a year it has been!  She has learned so much this past year at Sparkleberry Preschool.  She has learned to write her name, as well as recognizing & writing simple words like 'cat' & 'dog'.  She has also learned many Spanish words and can now count to 20 in Spanish.  She has learned many social skills at school like learning how to share & take turns.  And one of the most important things she has learned this year is responsibility, for herself, her actions & for her surroundings.  I am very pleased with all that she has learned, as well as with her teachers & the school.  I'm so happy to have Kennedy home with me for the summer, but am glad that she will be going back there again next school year.

To celebrate Kennedy's last day of school Marc & I decided to take her out for a special lunch.  Unfortunately, I got really sick that morning (fever, body aches, chills, headache) so daddy took her by himself.  She got to pick where she wanted to go, and no surprise, she picked Red Robin (Yum!).  She told me she had macaroni & cheese, oranges, French fries & a milkshake.  Sounds like a great lunch to me!  I was bummed that I couldn't make it but it sounded like Marc & her had a fun time together.  Here is the picture I got while they were out at their special lunch.  Looks like she is enjoying her milkshake! :)
