Spring Has (FINALLY) Sprung!

I feel like Lacey, Washington has FINALLY gotten the memo that it is Spring!  Hallelujah!  This week has been absolutely beautiful!  Sunny & in the 60's.  It has been perfect weather to go outside, play, & have fun with the girls.

Last night Kennedy was over at her friend's house playing & having dinner, so Marc & I got to have some quality time with Ashby.  Since the weather was so nice, we spent the entire time outside playing together.  We, of course, stopped at the park.  Ashby (and Kennedy) LOVE the park!  There are so many fun things to do & play when the girls go there.  And tonight was no different.

Ashby, seriously, has NO fear!  She is always trying to climb things!  At the park, she loves to climb these super high ladders/structures.  They are so high that I cannot reach her when she gets to the top, so she is only allowed to climb these when Marc is with her.  So tonight she was all over them.

See how high she gets??!!  It scares me to death!  Luckily, Marc is tall enough to keep both hands on her at all times, or else I'd be a nervous wreck!  She was having a blast!  She loves these ladders/structures..and anything else that is high & dangerous!  She pretty much loves anything & everything that she is not supposed to be getting into or on!  She is definitely our little dare devil!

Next, we took a walk to see if the GEICO man was home.  Yep, you read that right.  There is a man that lives in the neighborhood that works for GEICO & the girls love to go by his house to see if he (i.e. his car) is home.  And when they see his car they usually start singing (or make Marc start singing) the GEICO song.  Never heard of it?  Oh, you're missing out! :)

The girls LOVE when Marc sings this song!  Not the whole song, per se, but the beginning part!  They get a kick out of him singing it every.single.time!

Ashby also was showing off her jumping skills.  She just learned how to jump off the ground with both feet & she is constantly practicing.  Here is a little clip of her showing off her new skill.  Sorry the video is sideways, I have no idea how to turn it.  And please ignore the coughing from me.  I desperately needed a cough drop!

We only had an hour alone with our little girl, but Marc & I had such a good time with her.  It isn't every day that we get some good one-on-one time with our girls, so tonight was a great night with Ashby.  I really hope we can do this regularly with each of our girls.  I think it is good for the girls to get some undivided attention from Marc & me.  It's not only good for them, but it's great for us too!

We Love You Ashby Grace!!!
