I cannot believe our baby girl turns 4 today! Where has the time gone??!! It feels like just yesterday she was born, yet at the same time it feels like we've never known life without her. I was looking through old photos the other day & cannot believe how much she has changed in these past four years.
Days after she was born, in her coming home outfit.
1 year old.
2 years old.
3 years old.
And today, 4 years old!
Kennedy Rae--Happy Birthday, baby girl! We cannot believe today you are 4 years old! You have brought so much joy into our lives & we are so proud of the little girl you have become. We cannot imagine life without you! We love how outgoing & confident you are, never afraid to make new friends, talk to adults, or give your opinion. You LOVE to talk & some days it seems like you do not stop talking from the time you wake up to the time you go to bed! You are loving preschool & your teachers cannot say enough great things about you. You are a very polite little girl. You have really advanced in your writing & are getting more and more interested in spelling words, always asking 'how do you spell ___?' You are excelling at gymnastics & swimming, gaining more & more confidence along the way. You love to play Wii with daddy, read books, and play with your Leapster (and daddy's iPad!) You are such a great big sister to Ashby & you are getting much better about sharing your toys with her. You have taught her so many wonderful things and she just adores you! You are are great helper & 'errand girl', always doing what we ask without too many complaints.
Kennedy Rae, you are the light of our life. We love you so much & cannot wait to see what is in store during your 4th year of life! We hope you have a very, very happy birthday & that it is as special as you are! We love you so very much!
Love,
Daddy & Mommy

Oh my goodness! I remeber the day you were born so well. You didn't fit into the newborn outfit that Mommy and Daddy bought you so I ran to the store and bought a smaller one! What a precious angel you were then and still are today! I love you toooooo much! ~ Auntie Lisa
