Germs, Germs Go Away...

...And DON'T come again another day!!!

We had a pretty uneventful weekend, staying inside for the majority of both days. We didn't get out & do our normal activities because Kennedy was sick. She went to bed fine on Friday night but woke up with a cold & 103 fever on Saturday morning. Poor thing looked so pathetic for much of the day on Saturday. She pretty much laid around like this for the first half of the day:



Luckily, Tylenol helped reduce the fever & perked her up a little bit. But you could still tell she didn't feel good because she wanted to cuddle with mommy for much of the day. And if you know Kennedy, she does NOT like to cuddle! Another tell tale sign she didn't feel good...she napped both Saturday & Sunday! Another activity she doesn't do very often! Poor thing must not have felt good!

She woke up today saying she felt much better. Yay! But her fever still lingered throughout the day, hovering around 101. She was back to herself, though, talking a mile a minute & playing with Ashby. We even got a smile out of her when we took her picture!

We are so happy that Kennedy is starting to feel better. There is nothing worse than having a sick child. Hopefully she is fever free and feeling back to her old self tomorrow!
