We have thoroughly been enjoying our first full week of Summer vacation. No early morning alarms, no hurrying through breakfast each morning, no embarrassing school drop offs with Ashby in her pajamas (yes, that happened just about everyday). We are LOVING our low-key, relaxed, fun filled Summer days!
The girls have enjoyed play dates & trips to the neighborhood park...

And picking strawberries from the garden...
Can you believe we pick a bowl this size (or larger) of strawberries every couple of days from our garden? I love it!!!
The only thing better could be the weather! As you can see from the above pictures, jackets are still needed. It was quite breezy today & we are expecting rain for the next three days. Got to love WA weather! There is a reason they say that Summer doesn't officially begin here in WA until the 5th of July! Ha!
We are trying to pack in as much as we can & create as many memories possible this next month in Washington, before our big move to TX!

ReplyDeleteWow, we really need to plant strawberries! haha....my husband keeps talking about it but we haven't done it yet. Those look amazing! We have raspberries that we get to eat on in the fall, but strawberries would be even better!
