We've arrived in Las Vegas! Marc's family lives here, so we came down to visit & celebrate Kennedy & Marc's birthday and Easter before heading down to Disneyland.
The flight was uneventful. Gary Peyton, former NBA point guard for the Seattle SuperSonics was on our plane, but Marc wouldn't let me take a picture with him. He told me to leave the poor guy alone. So Ashby accidentally ran out in front of him before he boarded the plane. Ha! I should of shot a quick picture while I could!
Marc was super sweet & sat between the two girls, and let me have an entire row to myself. Well not all to myself. Just sans the girls. I got to sit next to a man snoring the entire flight. But I also got to take a little nap & read my magazines in peace & quiet. Thank you, babe!
And a quick funny story. When we went on vacation to Cancun at Christmas, we sat in first class. The girls were spoiled with special food, unlimited drinks & lots of attention. Well today, we flew coach. And when the snack & drink cart came by, Kennedy enthusiastically said to Marc, 'wow, they feed us in second class?!' Hahaha! Who knew they fed us lowly second class folks?! Lol.
The girls were so excited to see their Grandpa, Grandma, Uncles, Aunties & cousins! We landed & immediately met Marc's sister & her family for dinner. Mexican. My favorite! And incidentally, the location of Marc & my first date 11 years ago this month! Awww!!!
By the time we got back to the house, there was only time for some quick play time & then it was time for baths, teeth brushing & bed. But not before I got one last shot of my 5-year old. It is hard to believe that tomorrow my baby girl is going to be SIX!!!
After the girls were in bed, I helped Connie decorate Kennedy's birthday cake. Actually I was of no help at all. She worked her magic & I did the dishes. Ha! Connie makes the most delicious cakes & tonight she made Kennedy's request, chocolate cake with chocolate icing.
Tomorrow is a BIG day! Lots of celebrating will be going on for Kennedy Rae's super special day!!!
My parents flew with Gary Payton once, too! Crazy :)
