Yesterday after Kennedy got out of school, we took the girls to go get their picture taken with Santa. Now that Kennedy is in school full-time, it's been so hard to figure out a good time to go. Weekends are definitely out as the lines, I'm sure, are horrendous. Mondays & Wednesdays the girls have swim lessons. We had tried to go on Tuesday, but Kennedy wasn't feeling well after school. Luckily, yesterday worked out just fine. A little shirt switch-a-roo & hair brushing in the car, and we were good to go!
There were no lines & we were seriously in & out of the mall in 5 minutes. Love it! The girls loved talking to Santa, though Kennedy did mention that Santa always asks us the same thing every year. What would you like for Christmas? Ha! What else is he supposed to ask the hundreds of boys & girls that sit on his lap each holiday season?!
Ashby said she asked Santa for a Leap Pad & Kennedy asked for her very own iPad.
Seriously?! Where are the days of asking for Barbies, Cabbage Patch Dolls & coloring books?! Oh, how times have changed!
