Yesterday was Kennedy's half birthday. Most people don't recognize when they turn 1/2 year older nor celebrate this particular day. But KK sure does! She wanted everyone to know that yesterday she turned 5 1/2!
Her Kindergarten teacher, classmates, friends, family, neighbors, people in line at the grocery store, the mail man, UPS guy....pretty much anyone & everyone who will listen needed to know that yesterday was her 1/2 birthday! Ha!

So I decided to go with it! If it's important to my baby girl, it's important to her mama too!
I put a sweet little note in her lunch box, and then while she was at school I made her special treat for after dinner. It's not often your first born turns 5 1/2! :)
Yep! We celebrated with cupcakes! And a chorus of Happy 1/2 Birthday!
It made her day & it my heart happy to see her so happy!
And now the countdown starts to her 6th Birthday!!!
