Picture Day!

Today was Kennedy's Picture Day at school.  She's still in that awkward smile phase, so we've been working on her pretty smile in the mirror.  Poor girl just tries to hard!  I told her when the photographer took her picture she needed think about Daddy or doughnuts (two things she loves!) so that her pretty & natural smile appeared.

The above outfit wasn't our first choice.  It's cute but not what I had in mind for picture day.  We've had unseasonably warmer temperatures (yay!), so I had to scrap the sweater I originally had planned for her to wear & opted for this dress instead.

And you know what *made* the outfit?!

These bad boys!  It was PE day & they are required to wear tennis shoes on these days.  So pink tennis shoes it was with her pretty little dress.  At least they matched her leggings, right?!  

Here's praying her school pictures come back looking like this and NOT this!  Ha!
