Marc & I took the girls to the zoo on Friday. It was kind of an impromptu trip. He decided to take the afternoon off of work (or maybe play hooky?!) so we could have a little family time.
I think the BIG highlight of the trip was riding the camel! I was shocked that the girls agreed to do this. But they did great, and enjoyed their 2-minute ride with the sweet camel!
We had a great afternoon at the zoo, and since we have a zoo membership (thanks to my mom & dad), we didn't fee guilty about only staying a couple of hours. It's nice not to have to feel like you have to stay & walk through the entire zoo...especially when you've got two little girls that start to get hungry & cranky!
It was as super fun afternoon & we will definitely be going back to the zoo again very soon!
